And then there was...?

Hey all! Rich here...I will be focusing my energies on my music for awhile. I enjoyed my time over the past 2 years, playing with the Egyptian Combo and Steve Hornbeak and the Mainstreet Players. I learned a lot and I wish them all the best.

But it is time to get back to doing what I do. The RFB and  Contemporary Jazz music is where I belong. I have a backlog of music that will be coming out. The first will be a C-Jazz CD called "Process of Illumination." I will be playing that stuff on my solo gigs, so I hope ya enjoy that. The RFB will also be gearing up to play some new music and even possibly head in a new direction. That we will see!

I hope you all are excited about this. I know I am! Thanks to all the folks and fans I have met with the other groups and I hope to see some of you at some of my gigs! ONWARD AND UPWORD!

New music this Year?!?

For those of you fans out there who have been waiting for some new music from Rich, you might just get a double dose of it. Rich has been working on a new project of Contemporary Jazz music. "I am a jazz player by discipline, so much of what I do is filtered through that-I did go to Berklee after all." The Cd has the basic rhythm tracks done and now all the solos and guitar needs to get done.

On the RFB front, the guys hope to have a CD of brand new tunes done before the end of the year. "I have been writing some new tunes for the band, and it will be Blues, of course, but with a little more to it-because Phil and Eric are such great musicians."
